Iola Elizabeth Fleck Gallegos (Betty), 86, passed peacefully on March 6, 2024 in Twin Falls, Twin Falls, Idaho.

Iola was born in Rupert, Idaho on September 7, 1937 to Iola Geneva Yost Fleck and John Jackson Fleck, Jr.

She was proceeded in death by her father, John Jackson Fleck Jr., her mother Iola Geneva Fleck, her husband Alfonso Gallegos, her daughter Aimee Ramirez and various siblings.

She is survived by her children Allen Gallegos, Wendy Dryden, Cindy Call (Jon Call), Robert Gallegos, and Dean Gallegos. Her Surviving Siblings are Barbara Cole, Brenda Cottom, and Wayne Fleck (Alice). She has numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren who love her dearly.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved gardening and quilting. She was part of a quilting group with her sisters called Stitchers and Bitchers. They provided quilts to the Minidoka County Senior Center and family members. She canned many of the fresh vegetables from the garden she and dad grew. She was a prolific cook and baker!! Family favorites include, but are not limited to, Beef Stew, Tortillas, Carrot Cake, Chop Suey, Apple Dumplings, Rolls, Cinnamon Rolls, Zucchini Bread, Chili Beans, Fudge, Beans and Fideos, Biscuits, Divinity, Fruit Roll-Ups, Pork Noodles, Fried Potatoes with either cream of corn or hamburger gravy, banana bread and lots of different jams.

Special thanks go to Breanna Dryden for her love, devotion, and care of her Grandma the last months of her life.

Viewing services will be Wednesday, 13 March 24 at Hansen Mortuary from 6-8 PM. 710 6th St Rupert, Idaho.

Funeral services will be Thursday March 14th from 11-12 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 806 G St Rupert Idaho. Graveside services to follow at the Rupert Cemetery.
