Andrea Salinas 81 of Rupert passed away January 7, 2016 in Indiana.
Andrea was born October 26, 1934 in El Transval, Michoacan, Mexico to J. Acencion Ruiz and Ma. Acencion Tellez. She was married for 63 years to Salvador Salinas. Andrea and her family lived in Chicago, IL before moving to Rupert, ID in 1988. She loved spending time with her family and tending to her flowers and plants.
Andrea is survived by her husband Salvador Salinas. Children Celia Salinas (IN); Socorro (Alberto) de la Cruz (IN); Ma. De la Lus Salinas; Lidia (Juan) Vargas; Chayo (Antonio) Arciaga (IL); Gabby (Miguel) Tovar (IN); Letty (Trino) Tovar, and Rolando Salinas (UT), 30 Grand children and 51 great grandchildren. Andrea is now in heaven accompanied by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Viewing for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p. m. with A Rosary at7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Rupert. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Rupert. Services will conclude with burial at the Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
