Gloria Flora, 83 of Rupert passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Parkview Care and Rehabilitation. Gloria was born July 13, 1932 in Burley, Idaho to Fanny V and Roy Fenstermaker. She married David A. Flora on December 30, 1969 whom she spent 29 years. She gained a daughter at the time of their marriage, Margaret, whom she loved as her own and all of her children felt that he was truly their dad. She did a lot of babysitting in her younger years and served the families that she babysat with doing yard work without pay. She made sure each grandchild and great grandchild had a blanket the she had made. She will be missed by all, especially her grandchildren. Gloria was a housewife and a waitress. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, embroidering, puzzles, word searches, gardening, collecting bells and she loved a good game of pinochle.

Gloria is survived by her children Davy (Debra) Cantrell; Linda (John) Smith; Margaret (Michael) MacGonegal; and Patricia (Jim) Hinton. 14 Grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Sisters Carolyn Gallegos, Glenda Mecham and Sharon Howell. She is preceded in death by her husband Dave Flora, parents, three sisters and one brother.

We would like to thank Cassia Regional Medical Center and Park View Rehabilitation Center for the care that was given to our mother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 with Bishop Mark Sanderson officiating. Viewing for family and friends will be 6-8:00 Friday, July 24, 2015. Services will conclude with burial at Gem Memorial Garden to be held 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
