Martha Weber Hergenreder 93 of Heyburn passed away Thursday January 22, 2015 at her home.
Martha was born October 5, 1921 in Sugar City, Colorado to Christian and Marie Schnieder Weber. Martha married Herman Hergenreder on November 26, 1944. In 1927 she moved to Kersey, Colorado, in 1946 she then moved to Kuner, Colorado and then in 1964 moved to Heyburn, Idaho. Martha worked alongside her husband farming and for a short time worked for Theo Hinz Jewelery. She was a member of the Paul Congregational Church. Martha was a 4H leader, and was a member of the Rupert Lady Elks and Paul Legion Auxiliary. She loved to play cards, fish and travel. She also enjoyed to sew and embroider and loved to play the organ. She also made lap robes for the V.A.
Martha is survived by her husband Herman Hergenreder, children Dorothy Sparks of Rupert, Id., and Kathy (Earl) Leonard of Nampa, Id., Grandchildren Ron (Brandee) Bradshaw of Twin Falls, Id. Great Grandchildren Brandon, Easton, and Jaxon Bradshaw. Step Grandsons Jerry Dean, Randy and Brian Sparks, Granddaughter Katie Staley and Shaunna (Lloyd) Wilson. Sister Kathryn Humphrey of Greeley, Co., Nephew Harvey Weber of Feeding Hills, Mass, sister in laws Dulcie Jones of Ramah, Co., Doris Weber of Greeley, Co. brothers in law Jake (Helen) Hergenreder Greeley, Co., and Carl (Lou) Hergenreder Kersey, Co., and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by both parents, sisters Elsie Kraus, Maryan Walters, Esther Hert. Brothers Philip, Albert, Raymond and Henry Weber. Son In Law Jerry Sparks, and Sister In Law Bertha Weimer.
Funeral services will be held at the Paul Congregational Church 11:00 a.m. Monday January 26, 2015 at the Paul Congregational Church. A viewing for family and friends will be held 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday January 25, 2015 at Hansen Mortuary 710 6th Street, Rupert. Services will conclude with burial in the Paul Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
