Felicitas Marin Isordia 84 of Rupert passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at her home. Felicitas was born May 2, 1931 in Alamo, Texas to Nicholas Arredondo and Carlota Garcia. She was married to Mario Del Carmen Marin from 1948 to 1995. In 2012 she married Candelario Isiordia. She was born and raised in Alamo, Texas and later moved to Rupert, Idaho in 1969. Felicitas worked during the potato harvest. She was a Guadalupana member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church, and Crusillista. She enjoyed dancing, music and "loved" going to yard sales, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Felicitas is survived by her husband Candelario Isordia, her children Flor Estela Benavidez, Rosa Linda Marin, Maria Del Carmen Loya, Anabel (Abran) Ruiz, Norma Irene (Eligio) Lopez, and Mario Alberto Marin, 25 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, brothers Domingo Arredondo Sr., Nicolas Arredondo Jr., and sister Santos A. Fuentes.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Mario Del Carmen Marin, brothers Roman and Pablo Arrendondo, daughter San Juanita Rodriguez, granddaughter Felicitas Romo, son-in-law Romiro Benavidez, and her parents Nicolas and Carlota Arrendondo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at St Nicholas Catholic Church. Viewing for family and friends will be held 5-8:00 p.m. Thursday September 3, 2015at Hansen Mortuary and for one hour prior to services at the church services will conclude with burial in the Rupert Cemetery under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hicks and staff, Encompass Home Health and Hospice, Abigails In Home Care Inc., her nurses Dorinda, Nikki and Rick, and a special thanks to Becky Anns Café in Paul, Idaho for making her favorite meal.
