Abel Juarez Arteaga, 60, died on November 23, 2020 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. He was born in Tunguitiro, Michoacon, Mexico and lived in Rupert, Idaho.

Abel worked at Sunrise organic and enjoyed his work there. He also enjoyed time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Genoveva Juarez and his children, Juan Eduardo Juarez, Joanna Juarez, Rebeka Juarez and Maricsa Cristal Juarez. He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoriana Arteaga, his father, Alfonso Juarez and his mother-in-law, Maria Guadalupe Salinas.

Recitation of the Rosary and viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2020, at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Rupert. The funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020, also at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn following the funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
