Baltazar Salinas Gonzalez 63 of Rupert passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Twin Falls. He was born in Coeneo, Michoacan, Mexico and later moved to Rupert, Idaho.

Baltazar is survived by his children Baltazar Salinas Jr. (Ilda Ambriz), Alonzo Salinas (Laura Vega), Oralia Salinas, Joel Salinas (Daniela Salinas), Rebeca Arteaga (Ricardo Arteaga), Susy Salinas (Salvador Rodriguez), 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceeded in death by his father Cornelio Salinas, Mother Ma. Trinidad Gonzalez, siblings Dionicio Salinas, Reyes Salinas, Angela Salinas, Ramon Salinas, Gil Salinas, and children Enriques and Ivan Salinas.

Mass of a Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Rosary with viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the church and for one hour prior to the services at the church. Services will conclude with burial in the Rupert Cemetery under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.

The family would like to thank Monte Vista, Portneuf Medical Center, Park View and St. Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center for the excellent care of their father.
