Lisa Bohm Obituary

Lisa Kay Bohm, 59, of Rupert, passed away at home on Monday morning July 9, 2018.
Lisa was born on July 24, 1958, in Sterling, Colorado to William and Sandra Ils. She joined an older sister and was brought up on the family farm where she was taught to use an irrigation shovel and back up a truck. She grew up and attended school in Sterling where she was active in 4-H and graduated from Sterling High School in 1976.

Lisa went on to attend Colorado State University, where she graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor's of Science in Range Management. This is also where she met the love of her life, Steve Bohm. They were married in Sterling, Colorado, on June 27, 1981. They later made their home in Rupert, Idaho.

Lisa worked as a dairy secretary for Moo Mountain Milk for 16 years. She loved working and was passionate about her job. She also loved to go shopping and took every opportunity she could get to take her grandkids and spoil them rotten. She enjoyed spending every minute with her family especially if it meant time on the boat on the river or going on family vacations.

Lisa was blessed with 3 children and 8 grandchildren (and 1 due in December). She deeply loved her children and considered her grandchildren to be her "greatest" gift! She raised her children with love and compassion and showed the same love to her grandchildren. She could always be found sharing her kids' and grandkids' accomplishments and boasting about how proud she was of each one of them. She was very loved by all who knew her and she will be missed dearly.

Lisa is survived by: her husband, Steve; children, Kristin (Dereck) Sanderson of Rupert, Idaho, Eric (Genesis) Bohm of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Cody (Natasha) Bohm of Pocatello, Idaho; grandchildren, Haylee, Brooke, McKinlie, Harper, Zoiee, Braylee, Decker, and Arianna; her mother, Sandy Ils; her sister, Sue Whitney; as well as three nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Ils; her maternal grandparents, Dale and Marie Hutchinson; and paternal grandparents, John and Frieda Ils.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the Acequia LDS Church, 20403 5th St, Rupert, Idaho, with Pastor Scott Sampson officiating. A luncheon for family and friends will follow the service.

The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Hansen Mortuary, 710 6th Street, Rupert, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up with D.L. Evans Bank in Lisa's memory where the money will be donated to the Minidoka County 4-H Association.
