Alice Levern (Elston) Brower

Alice LeVern Elston Brower 88, Heyburn, Idaho. Passed away peacefully Monday, November 11, 2024, at home with her Loving husband by her side.

Alice was born on January 27, 1936, in Parma, Idaho, the daughter of William and Nora Riggs Elston. She was the third child of five children. She grew up in Payette, Idaho.

In 1953 Alice meet her one and only love, Doyle Brower. They were married in June of 1953, and later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Alice was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many different organizations in the church. But her most favorite calling was serving twelve years in the Boise and Twin Falls, Temples with her sweetheart Doyle.

Doyle and Alice loved going to Redfish Lake where they went for many years. They loved taking their parents, children and later grandchildren so they could enjoy the beauties of nature and just being together as a family.

Alice worked at the Idaho Department Store for several years and later she worked at the bank in Rupert for 23 Years. She made many good friends in her work.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years Doyle Brower, there three sons Chris (Julie) Brower, Mark (Christi) Brower, and Mike (Delfie) Brower. 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Emerson 1st Ward Chapel, with Bishop Dan Lloyd conducting. Gathering for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Services will conclude with burial at the Paul Cemetery, Paul, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
