Alma Marie Emler, 65, passed away in her home in Rupert Idaho on May 14, 2021 after a long battle with several health issues.
The family will be holding a celebration of Alma’s life on July 10, 2021 in Heyburn, Idaho at the park across from the Heyburn Riverside RV Park starting at 2pm.
Alma was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on February 19, 1956. Alma was forced to grow up quickly when she found out she was pregnant at the ripe old age of 15. She was an extremely hard-working woman and often times had multiple jobs so she could provide for her children. She spent the majority of her life working in the service industry. She loved to make people happy by providing them with a meal and several cold beverages. Through her friendships at work, Alma met her partner of nearly 40 years, Dennis Stutzman. Although their relationship as a couple ended many years ago, Dennis continued to remain in her life and was always there to help take care of her when needed. He was there till the very last day of her life.
Alma is survived by her son Chad, daughters Holly and Rosey, (11) grandchildren Chris, Anthony, Michael, Breanna, Brok, Damien, Taylee, Leora, Kiesha, Madynn and Jaslene, (9) great-grandchildren Ilyana, Nyliyah, Mark, Josiah, Legend, Xavier, Michael, Zander and Kayden, and sisters Julia, Harriet “Dolly”, Judy and Ruby.
