Andrew H. Smith

Andrew H. Smith, 87, of Loomis Ca, passed away peacefully on March 24th, surrounded by the love of family.

Born on March 13th in Rupert Idaho, Andrew was the cherished son of Ted and Lois Smith. From an early age, he valued family above all else, a devotion that remained constant throughout his life.

Andrew was a devoted husband to Charlotte, a proud parent to his only daughter Janet, and a beloved grandfather to Amber and Nancee. He was also a Great Grandfather to Jaxson, Eli, Dean and awaiting Evelyn. Andrew is survived by the Grandchildren and Great children with his legacy of love, kindness, and strength. 

Family was the center of Andrew's world. Whether it was traveling in his RV, going to his spot at the gun store, hangout out back with his grandkids, or out to breakfast with his closest friends, he found the greatest joy in bringing loved ones together. Andrew's home was always open, filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.

Andy will be remembered for his gentle spirit, generous heart, and the deep love he gave so freely. His presence was a source of comfort and strength, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A viewing for family and friends will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Hansen Mortuary Rupert, Idaho. Followed by a graveside at the Paul Cemetery, Paul, Idaho at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
