Our beautiful mother, Arlene Frances felt, passed away with her family by her side, on January 17. 2021 she was 96 years young.
Arlene was born October 17,1924 in Rochester, Minnesota, the daughter of William Fredrick Blazing and Mary McCabe Blazing. Arlene came from a large family, being the third of eleven children.
Arlene spent her early days on the family farm in Minnesota moving later to town to begin a “city" job as a telephone operator. This is where she met and later married the love of her life Dwight Hans Felt, on October 17, 1946. Adding to this union were five children, Dan Felt, Bev Griffith, Debbie (Leroy) Uhrich, Bob Felt, Dave (Kelly) Felt.
Arlene’s greatest joy was being a mom and especially being a grandma and having her entire family all together with her. She lived a long, full and wonderful life and will be greatly missed.
Arlene is survived by her children, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, with one on the way, arriving in august, and 3 great, great grandchildren, her sister Delores, sister-in-law Joann and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death, by the love of her life, Dwight, one sister, all of her brothers, and one great great grandchild, Madison.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
