Carma Lloyd Firkins 92 of Declo passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Park View Rehabilitation and Care Center, Burley. She was born on October 24, 1933, in Elba, Idaho. Carma was the third child born to Fred T. Lloyd and Flossie Ethel Parish Lloyd. She was proceeded by Vernon and Fred Stanley and followed by Arlo Parish, Janis, William Jerry, and Luana.
Carma graduated from Albion High School in 1951, and she married James (Bill) Holm on December 26, 1951, in Elba, Idaho. They were the parents of four children Teresa Harrison (Elwin), Burley, Eileen Ennis (Kim), Rupert, James L. Holm (Deeba) Hammon, Oklahoma, and Roger A. Holm Vinnemucca, Nevada. Bill and Carma divorced and she married Austin Lyle Firkins on October 10, 1969. Austin brought seven children to the marriage Dila Carson, Sharon Belcher, Gene Firkins, Dan Firkins, Tony Firkins, Cindy Kerstetter, and Bonnie Mitton. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother F. Stanley. Carma is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, siblings, and stepson Gene Firkins.
Viewing for family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, at Hansen Mortuary, Rupert and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Declo 2nd Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Services will conclude with burial at the Elba Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. services are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
