Caroline Ruth (Riedlinger) Davis 83 of Paul Idaho, returned home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2025

Caroline was born July 16, 1942, in Paul, Idaho to John and Emma (Renz) Riedlinger. She married Merlin Davis on April 20th, 1966, in Elko, Nevada, they had three children. She inherited 3 grown stepchildren.

Caroline was an active member of her community. She coached little league baseball and softball. In Heyburn and Paul bowled with her sisters and friends she was part of Minico booster club, she helped with the Paul Shindig and was active in Relay for Life and Helping Hands,

At an early age, she started working at Connor’s Café she also worked as a school bus driver at the Minidoka County Schools district for 52 years until she retired in 2018. She was awarded the district employee of the year award in 2009  

Caroline was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Paul, Idaho which is now called Hope Community Church where she was involved in Awanas, bible study, choir, Sunday school, and the pantry. When she wasn’t able to come to church, she would watch from home on her I pad.

She is preceded in death by her husband Merlin, infant son Merlin Jr. son Robert, grandson Carson, her parents John and Emma (Renz) Riedlinger, six sisters, Lorena Comstock, Alvina Praaegitzer, Leona Connor, Alma Requa, Betty Jennings, Christina Jennings, and Three Brothers Otto Riedlinger, Herbert Riedlinger, Ruben Riedlinger

She is survived by her daughter Coleen (John) Jones, and her daughter -in-law Monica (Robert) Davis, step children Gerri (Randall) Funk, Karin (Lynn) Gunnell Steve (Carol) Davis; four grandchildren Amanda (Matt) Oglevie, Brynn (Shaun) Shireman, Lucas (Jamie) Neibaur, Katie (Preston) Halfacre; eight grandchildren Juliana Oglevie, Hunter Neibaur, Ashtyn Neibaur, Saylor Neibaur, Collin Neibaur, Jachin Halfacre, Eben Halfacre, Silas Halfacre

And many nieces and nephews that loved her and were very close to her. 

Family and friends will be welcome from 5:00p.m. to 7:00P.M. on Friday November 21,2025 at Hansen Mortuary at 710 6th St Rupert Idaho 83350 and one hour before the service.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M on Saturday November 22, 2025 at Hansen Mortuary at 710 6th St Rupert Id. 83350.
