Dolores A Rochford

Dolores Susanne Studer was born on February 16, 1939, to Bruno and ElVera Studer. She
was the oldest of two daughters. She died on Friday, February 6th, 2026, at Countryside Care Facility, where she had resided for many years. She received compassionate care with dignity from all the wonderful people who worked there.

Dolores was part of the first graduating class from Minico High School. She graduated in 1956 and immediately married her “cheerleading partner" Galen Rochford. They remained
married for 69 years. Galen and Dolores had 2 children, Pam Stocker of Hermiston, Oregon and Marty Rochford of Ashton, Idaho.

Dolores spent most of her parenting years as a homemaker, where she excelled at keeping a home spotless. Her children still remember their "housekeeping" chores that had to be
complete before leaving the house for school, the list on Saturdays they must complete before any fun activities. She is fondly remembered as being one of the best cooks in town,
and her children can still recall the amazing smells from the kitchen when they walked into he home after school. She later worked at Minico High School, The Lantern Boutique, and
Minidoka Pharmacy. She is remembered by many for her musical talents. She was a great entertainer with her music for many years in the late 1980's and early 1990's, until her
health started to fail. She provided music and entertainment throughout the Magic Valley, George K's Supper Club, and Rupert Elks Lodge. She also played for many private
events.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Galen Rochford, daughter Pam and husband Louie, son Marty and wife Lisa, sister Kathy Niecko of Boise, Idaho, and numerous grandchildren;
Josh, Nikki, Casey, Adam, Rachel, Megan, Gabby and Emily, along with numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to personally thank all the staff at Countryside for the many years of care and kindness they provided their wife and mother.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 12th, at 11:00 am at the Rupert
Cemetery, located at 450 North Meridian Road. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
