Donna LaRee (Shaw) Jorgensen passed away on July 26, 2025, in her home in Paul, Idaho. She was 89 years old. She was born in Rose, Idaho, on March 29, 1936, to Kenneth Albert Shaw and Edith Theone Judd. She was raised in Blackfoot, Idaho, and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1955. Shortly after graduation she moved to Oxnard, California, where she met her future husband.

On January 23, 1957, she married Dee LaRon Jorgensen. While married to Dee, she lived in California, Nevada, Alabama, Germany, Arizona and Florida. In 1968, she returned to Idaho with Dee, where she lived the rest of her life.  Five children were born to this union: Brice Gregory, residing in Pocatello, Idaho, Todd Mathew (Julie), residing in Burley, Idaho, Stacie (Marc) Stephenson, residing in Santaquin, Utah, Marilee (Kerry) Sanford, residing in Paul, Idaho, and Elizabeth Jorgensen, residing in Jacksonville, Florida.

She enjoyed time with family, and she was a Master Gardener. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she served in several callings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Marva and Mary Elizabeth, and one great grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, five children, 16 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on August 2, 2025, at the Paul Stake Center, 424 West Ellis St., Paul, Idaho, with Bishop Juan Perez conducting. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:45, with the funeral beginning at 11:00. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary
