Edward James Rex

Edward James Rex died on May 5th at his home in Wendell, ID. He was born in Vallejo, CA, on June 13, 1972, to William Jay Rex and Janet Louise Stone. He had lived in Wendell with his family for the last 9 years. He is preceded in death by his son, Leo John Edward Rex, and his grandfather, Edward Metcalf Stone.
He leaves behind his wife Margaret (Molly) Rex, son Wyatt Rex, and daughter Alyssa Rex. He also leaves behind his mom, Janet Jackson, his dad, William Rex, his twin brother, Paul Rex, his brother, Mark Rex, his sister Amy Stratton, his sister Michalle Santo Pietro, his brother Christopher Rex, and their families.
 Ed rarely met anyone that he didn't like and was a friend to all. He loved to go fishing, riding his motorcycle, smoking cigars, and grilling. He graduated from Truckey Meadows Community College with an associate's degree in criminal justice. He was a certified welder and pipefitter. He had a CDL. He was an army veteran. He will be missed by all who meet him.
Services will be on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at Oster Ponds at 1pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
