Esperanza Rodriguez

Esperanza Rodriguez, 55, of Rupert, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her home after fighting a valiant battle with cancer.  She was born on February 14, 1966 in Villa de Zaragosa, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Esperanza was a very dedicated mother, wife, sister, aunt and Tita (grandmother).  She was the owner of Evie’s Restaurant in Norland.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

The family would like to thank Harrison’s Hope Hospice and the staff at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute.

A viewing and rosary will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Rupert.  The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 also at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.  Burial will take place at the Rupert Cemetery following the funeral mass.  Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
