Evangeline Ennis

Evangeline Ennis, 86, of Paul passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  She was born July 14, 1934 at her home in Sac City, IA and passed away at her home in Paul, Idaho.

Evangeline graduated from Sac City High School in 1952 and received her nursing degree from St. Anthony School of Nursing in 1955.  She was married to Jerry Ennis at the Cathedral of St. Cecelia in our Lady of Nebraska Chapel in Omaha, Nebraska on June 7, 1962. 

Evangeline is survived by her husband Jerry, daughter Stephanie (Philadelphia), two sons Joseph (Las Vegas, NV) and Matthew (Paul, ID), one sister Patricia Sullens (Hollister, CA) and many loving nieces and nephews.  She is proceeded in death by her parents Ruth and Alphonsus Hoye, two sisters and one brother. 

The family would like to thank all the hospice team from IHC especially Kathy, Ilene and Kay.

A Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.   Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. directly after the Rosary. Services will conclude with burial in the Paul Cemetery under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Nicholas Catholic School.
