Floyd Eugene Wilson, 76, of Shelley, Idaho passed away Monday, September 11, 2023.

Dad was born March 12, 1947 in Hailey, Idaho to Lloyd Edward Wilson and Violet (Posey) Wilson.  Dad worked at JR Simplot for 20 years.  He then moved and was hired at Idaho Pacific as a potato buyer.  He worked there until he retired 30 plus years.

Dad enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and going to horse sales but would always go trolling in the boat just to hear them reels sing.  He loved spending time with his dog Buddy and doing jigsaw puzzles during the winter.

Dad was proceeded in death by his dad Lloyd E. Wilson and daughter and son in law JoDean and Ed Foreman. He is survived by his wife Judy Wilson and his mother Violet Wilson, his brothers Carl (Cindy), Dennis and his sisters Lorraine and Linda.  His children Darin (Sandra), Lisa (Brian), Julie (Lonnie), Lloyd (Shanna) and Shawn (Beth), Jill, Jackie (Don), Jerry (Sara) and Tara.  Altogether they have 32 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild with one on the way.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Hansen Mortuary. Viewing for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2023 at Hansen Mortuary. Services will conclude with burial at the Riverside Cemetery, Heyburn.  Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
