Gene Norvin Dickson

Gene N. Dickson, 84 passed away peacefully at his home in Rupert, Id. on July 20, 2023, at the age of 84.  He was born January 13, 1939, to Norvin and Blanche Dickson. 

He worked for Dickson Oil Co. for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  I think Genes best time in life was hunting elk in the primitive area of the Selway for many years.  He hunted with a group of great guys that grew into great lifetime friends. In Genes lifetime, he made many friends that he so treasured.   

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kim, his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.  He is survived by his sister Karla, his brother Darell, two daughters, four grandkids, three great grandkids, many nieces, and nephews.  His favorite niece Teresa who helped him through a “tuff time”, and a very special lady friend Gloria Peterson.  

In keeping with his wishes there will be no funeral or graveside service.  

There will be a celebration of life at the Melody Bar on August 5th, 2023, at 2:00.
