Facility staff were also in attendance. Helen succumb to multiple health issues and chronic conditions as well as most recently Respiratory Complications due to the Covid – 19 virus.
Helen was born on February 3, 1930 in Montpelier, Vermont. Helen had four siblings; Joe, George, Harry and Betty who all preceded her in death. Helen was the middle child and spent her childhood in Vermont. At the age of 14 she went to California to live with her aunt and uncle. She then went back to Vermont where she completed high school.
Helen is survived by her husband Stan, her children Scott and his wife Bee of Pocatello, Idaho, Lisa and her husband Bill Bacon of Pocatello, Idaho, John and his wife Ruth of Linden, California and her youngest son Steve Nelson of Twin Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by several grandchildren and her Sister In Law – Norma of Pocatello Idaho.
Helen was an Administrative Assistant for much of her working career. She retired in 1994. In years following her retirement she did volunteer work in hospitals and schools as well as community and youth centers. During this time, she also did traveling around the country. In 2003 She married Stan Lucero and then the couple moved to Rupert, Idaho.
Her health slowly and continually declined, and she became more frail and weaker. Helen converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in approx.2009. She was very close to several people in the church and had a lot of close friends who thought highly of her.
After many years of pain and suffering, my only hope is that she is at Peace!

your son
Steve
