Jennie Lee (Thomas) Morrison

Jennie Bott Morrison,96, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Autumn Haven Assisted Living in Rupert, Idaho.

Jennie was born on March 4, 1927, in Lago, Idaho to William Eugene Thomas and Marion Elliott Thomas. They moved to Paul    where she attended school and graduated. She met Louis Bott in Rupert and they later married in Elko Nevada on March 6, 1945. She was a homemaker on their dairy and farm in Rupert, Idaho where they raised four boys Steve, Mike, Jeff and Robert. They later divorced and she moved to Gooding, Idaho where she married Henry Morrison and worked years at First Security Bank. After Henry passed away, she returned to Paul to live closer to her family. She never missed an activity that her grandkids or great grandkids were involved in.  She enjoyed watching them so much. Jennie was a devout Catholic and spent many years at St. Nicholas with many of her friends cooking meals for their dinners. They would spend hours over several days making everything from scratch for the annual ravioli dinner. She was the President of the Altar Society. She loved to get together with all her sisters and brothers laughing and telling stories.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Henry, and her son Robert.

She is survived by her children Steve (Wendy) Bott, Mike (Doris) Bott and Jeff Bott.  Nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved and cherished all of them so much.

The family would like to thank Autumn Haven Assisted Living for their loving care.  At her request there will be no formal service. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 at the Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Nicholas in Rupert, Idaho.  Service arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
