OBITUARY FOR JEROME BENDELE
Jerome Clifford Bendele passed away on December 30, 2025, at St.Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital of natural causes. He was born on September 10,1955 to Shirley and Walter J. (Jack) Bendele in Twin Falls.
Jerome’s parents homesteaded on the north side of Rupert. He learned the skills of farming and mechanics by working with his dad. He spent most of his life working on farms or driving truck around the Rupert/Burley area.
Jerome attended St. Nicholas School and Minidoka County High School. He liked camping, fishing and loved his dogs.
Jerome never married. His siblings, nieces and nephews were very dear to him and he rarely forgot a birthday. He was loyal and would do anything for his friends.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, three older brothers, Tom, Richard and Douglas Bendele, and recently three sisters-in-law, Mary (Steve), Marsha (Keith) and Sandy (Tom) Bendele. He is survived by his siblings Rita (Stan) Fleck, Steve Bendele, Keith Bendele, Tim Bendele and Sandra (Jessie) Castro and many nieces and nephews.
Jerome spent the last six years at the Oak Creek Rehabilitation Center, Kimberly, Idaho. The family would like to thank the staff of the Oak Creek Rehabilitation Center for their care, compassion, and friendships.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at Hansen Mortuary services will conclude with burial in the Rupert Cemetery under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
