Jessie James Bingham was born July 23, 1946 in Laurel, Mississippi 39440.
Jessie joined the Army January 6, 1967. He served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharge January 5, 1973.
Jessie went to college at Modesto Jr. College graduating from the Peace Officers program. He worked for the Department of Corrections in Washington State and retired with 25 years of service with the California Department of Correction in 2001.
Jessie is survived by his wife Eliner Bingham, son Benjaman H. Bigham, Arvada, CO., daughter Jeanette Gains, Westminster, OH., brothers Wilson Bingham, Atlanta, GA., Curtis Bingham, Tracy, CA., Henry Bingham, Laurel, MS., and David Bingham, Walla Walla, WA., sisters Bernice Williams, Laurel, MS, Claudette Bingham, Biloxi, MS, and other extended family members throughout the USA.
Jessie is preceded in death by his mother Ella Mae Bingham and his father James Curtis Coleman.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Hansen Mortuary 710 6th Street Rupert, ID. Viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior to services. Services are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
The family would like to thank his wife’s sisters, Stella, Alice, and other Martin family members as well Jesse Johnson of Laurel, MS. who helped and supported Jessie and Eliner.
