On November 20, 2024, Joseph Judd Lloyd 35 of Rupert, Idaho. Was called back to his heavenly home due to a unexpected medical condition. We lost a beam of sunshine and heaven received an angel of Light.
Judd was born on May 30th1989 to E. Lynn and Dena Jo Lloyd in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the youngest of three boys. Judd grew up in Riverton, Utah until he was 16 years old, and the family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he finished school and graduated from Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas in June 2007. Judd’s dad passed away a couple of months after his graduation.
Judd moved with his mom and brothers to Rupert, Idaho in March of 2008 until later that fall and he moved back to Utah to live with his Grandparents in Highland. He got a job at Kohlers Grocery Store in Lehi, UT and that’s where he meets the love of his life Summer Dawn Draper. They married on June 17, 2011, in the Draper, Utah LDS Temple.
Life got even better on July 15, 2014, for Judd and Summer when they welcomed their sweet little boy Beau Grant, you couldn’t wipe the smile off Judd’s face he was so proud.
Beau became his best friend, and Judd was Beau’s best friend, they were to pea’s in a pod, only, apart because of work and school.
Judd was always smiling. Even when he had to tell you something serious. He had a passion for trains, loved Nerf wars, and Legos and he shared this love with Beau. He was also a member of the Magic Valley Model Railroaders club. He was considered by all to be a big kid at heart.
He loved the gospel and as an Elder for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, had many different callings. At the time of his death, he was the activities leader for the 8- to 11-year-old boy’s in his ward. He was a positive influence in many lives and always kind to everyone he met. He has left a giant hole in the hearts of all those who loved him.
He is survived by his wife Summer Lloyd, son Beau. His mom Dena (Ross) Newcomb, grandparents Jerry & DeAnna Peck & Darwin Lloyd, brothers Jacob (Melinda) Lloyd, Jordan (Kara) Lloyd, sisters Ashley (Bryce) Gates, McKenzie (Kent) Tarbet. Brother-In-Law’s Jason Draper, Matt (Alexis) Draper, and Sister-In-Laws Jenny Cunningham, Randi (Shane) Draney, & Heidi (Martin) Parker and Many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is Preceded in death by his dad E. Lynn Lloyd, his in-law’s Grant Draper, & Barbara Beagley. Aunts Debra Peck, & Fran Peck, cousin Matthew Peck.
