Julian Trevino Lopez 94, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2020 at countryside rehabilitation Center in Rupert, Idaho. Julian was born to Senobio and Dominga (Lopez) Trevino in Camargo Azucar Tamaulipas, Mexico on May 12, 1925. Julian grew up attending school and working in agriculture to help provide for his family and siblings in Mexico, and he enjoyed singing with Mariachi groups and in local businesses. Julian served his country as a soldier in Mexico, then came to the united states, where he married the love of his life Lilia R Trevino in Lorenzo Texas on Dec 30, 1950.Julian was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he worked in agriculture for many years. He then began working for Del Monte and retiring from Ore' Ida foods. Julian was very spiritual, and he enjoyed reading the bible, praying, educating people on the word of God. He also enjoyed singing, dancing, fishing, and outdoor activities. His greatest accomplishment was his six children. He is preceded in death by his parents, his beautiful wife, his son, five brothers, two sisters, and grandson. Julian is survived by his children, Minerva (Fred) Sapien of Fullerton, Nebraska, Ninfa T. Garcia, Irma(Gilbert)Salinas, of Rupert, Idaho, Julian (Tess) Trevino of the Philippines, and Carios (Maria)Trevino of Rupert. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great,great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at Hansen Mortuary 710 6th Street, Rupert, Idaho 83350 on January 10, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 also at Hansen Mortuary followed by the burial at the Rupert Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
