Lavada Moore peacefully passed away on July 31, 2025 at St. Alphonsus in Boise after having a stroke. Lavada was born June 30th, 1940 in West Texas. She was the daughter of KK and Katie Whitaker. In 1958 Lavada met Larry Moore and a few days later they married. Together they had 3 children, Cary Moore, Lorie Moore Dilanchian (Hamik) and Randy Moore (Tawna) and were married until Larry passed away in 2006. Lavada was a devoted housewife who loved quilting, antiquing and gardening. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed creating art in several genres. A few years after Larry passed she developed a wonderful loving relationship with Delmas Beaver. They shared companionship and life together until his passing.
She leaves behind her 3 children, 2 grandchildren, John and James (Lorie) and her great grandchild Ari.
For those who would like to attend there will be a brief graveside service at the Paul cemetery on August 7th at 11:00 am. Following the services at the cemetery there will be pie and coffee at the Paul Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Hansen Mortuary.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Alphonsus for the warm loving care they gave our mother in her last week of life.
