Lettie Ella Parker Greer, 76, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 in the early morning hours surrounded by her children at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs, Lettie was born on April 6, 1945 in Pasco, WA to Ray & Gladys Parker. She was the 6th child born out of 7; 5 brothers and 1 sister. She married Duane Dockstader in 1964 and had her 4 children. She later divorced Duane and married David Greer in 1976. They lived in Roosevelt, WA for a short time before settling down and raising their family in Rupert. Lettie enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with her growing family. In her last years, she moved to Soda Springs to be closer to her daughters.
Lettie is preceded in death by her husband, David Greer; her parents, Ray & Gladys Parker; her brothers, Richard, Emery, Robert, and Clarence Parker; and her sister, Francis Parker. She is survived by her children, Shawn (Patty)Dockstader of Rupert, Tate (Susan) Dockstader of Rupert, Donita (Kenny) McAllister of Soda Springs, and Wanita of Burley; 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren that she loved very much.
Her funeral will be held at Hansen Mortuary in Rupert on Friday September 3, 2021 starting with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. and the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial service will be held at the Rupert Cemetery following the funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
