Maria L. Ceja Gil

María Luisa Ceja Gil, de 75 años, nuestra querida mamá, abuela y bisabuela, falleció en paz el 17 de abril de 2023.  Cornelio Ceja y Consuelo Ramírez la recibieron en este mundo el 8 de diciembre de 1947, en Pretoria Michoacán, México. Fue la primera de 8 hijos. (Socorro Arteaga, Ramiro Ceja, Gerado Ceja , Cornelio Ceja, Fidel Bravo, Blanca Bravo y Mario Bravo.)  Le sobrevive su amado esposo José Luis Gil. Estuvieron casados durante 59 años. También le sobreviven sus hijos Odilia (Abel), Lucía (Héctor), Gustavo (Maricela), Elías (Andrea) y sus nietos Melanie, Jasmine, Yvette, Michael, Joanna Christian, Elias Jr, Dalia, Joey, Mia y bisnietos Jimena, Jayleen y Lennox.

Nuestra mamá, "Mama Icha", como todos sus hijos la llamaban, era nuestra mundo entero. Ella era lo que mantenía unida a nuestra familia. Le encantaba cocinar, y era increíble en eso. Ella siempre quiso vernos reunidos comiendo sus comidas en los fines de semana. Trabajó durante muchos años en los entornos agrícolas y luego dedicó muchos años más al cuidado de sus nietos. Ella será extrañada por toda la familia, amigos y todos los que la amaron. Queremos agradecer a todos los que ayudaron a cuidarla  en Intermountain Health Care y Park View Burley, Idaho.  El Rosario y el velorio se llevarán a cabo el jueves 20 de abril de  2023, de 6 a 8 pm en la Iglesia Catolica San Nicolás.  La misa se llevará a cabo el viernes  21 de abril de 2023,  a las 11 am también en la Iglesia de San Nicolás con entierro en el cementerio de Riverside, Heyburn Idaho, segido por una pequena recepcion de agradecedimeinto.  Los servicios son dirigidos por Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.

Maria Luisa Ceja Gil, 75 our beloved mom, grandma, and great grandma passed away peacefully on April 17th, 2023. She was born to Cornelio Ceja and Consuelo Ramirez on December 8th, 1947, in Pretoria Michoacan, Mexico. She was the first of 8 children. (Socorro Arteaga, Ramiro Ceja, Gerado Ceja, Cornelio Ceja, Fidel Bravo, Blanca Bravo and Mario Bravo.) She is survived by her loving husband Jose Luis Gil. They were married for 59 years. He is also survived by her children Odilia (Abel), Lucia (Hector), Gustavo (Maricela), Elias (Andrea) and her grandchildren Melanie, Jasmine, Yvette, Michael, Joanna Christian, Elias Jr, Dalia, Joey, Mia and great grandchildren Jimena, Jayleen, & Lennox.

Our Mama, “Mama Icha” like all of her kids called her she was our word. She was what held our family together. She loved to cook, and she was amazing at it. She always wanted to see us gathered eating her meals on the weekends. She worked for many years in the agriculture environments and later dedicated many more years to taking care of her grandkids. She will be missed by all the family, friends and everyone that loved her. We want to thank everyone that helped take care of her at Intermountain Health Care and Park View Burley, Idaho. 

 Viewing and Rosary for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church and for one hour prior to the services at the church. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Camilo Garcia as Celebrant services will conclude with burial in the Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
