Maria was born in Durango Mexico to Manuel De Jesus Ponce Hernandez and Juana Duarte Muniz.  

Maria suffered with declining health but her faith never wavered and her love for others is everlasting.  She exuded kindness and led by example. Even through the hard times her 

morning prayers were always done.  She loved singing hymns and her visits from her church friends on Thursdays prior to the pandemic.  Please elevate her with your prayers.

Living Survivors:  husband of 45 years Francisco Nava Najera, children Irma (Manuel) Magana, Juan F (Maria) Nava.  Her beloved grandchildren

Yasmin, Manuelito, Aaron, Gaby and Alan.  Siblings Jose(Elia), Felipe, Arturo, Manuel, Carmen (Miguel), Juventina, Amada and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded by parents, baby sister and sister Maria Del Rosario and nephew Miguel Angel. 

Funeral Mass will be held  3:00 P.M. Friday October 22, 2021  at the Catholic Church  St Therese Little Flower Burley, Idaho, viewing at 2pm at church Burial TBA in Mexico.  Services under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.

María sufrió con la salud en declive, pero su fe nunca flaqueó y su amor por los demás es eterno. Ella irradiaba bondad y predicaba con el ejemplo. Incluso a través de los tiempos difíciles, ella

las oraciones matutinas siempre se hacían. Le encantaba cantar himnos y las visitas de sus amigos de la iglesia los jueves antes de la pandemia. Por favor, elévala con sus oraciones.

Sobrevivientes vivos: esposo de 45 años Francisco Nava Nájera, hijos Irma (Manuel) Magana, Juan F (Maria) Nava. Sus amados nietos

Yasmin, Manuelito, Aaron, Gaby y Alan. Hermanos José (Elia), Felipe, Arturo, Manuel, Carmen (Miguel), Juventina, Amada y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos.

Le precedieron los padres, la hermanita y hermana María Del Rosario y el sobrino Miguel Angel.

La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 3:00 p.m. Viernes 22 de octubre de 2021 en la Iglesia Católica St Therese Little Flower Burley, Idaho, a las 2 pm en la iglesia Entierro TBA en México. Servicios bajo la dirección de Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
