Miriam Jeanne Thompson, age 102, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, in Burley, Idaho. She was born on March 6, 1923, in Bakersfield, California.

Miriam spent the majority of her life in Burley, Idaho, where she built a life full of love, family, and cherished memories. For the past three years, she resided in Declo, Idaho, where she was surrounded by those who loved her.

She is survived by her son, Chuck Thompson; her grandchildren, Jamie Thompson (Betty Kendall) and Jennifer Hunt; and her great-grandchildren, Ashley Windes (Mack Windes), Garrison Thompson, Jacob Thompson (Andrea Edie), Peyton Thompson, Sierra Guest McNeil, and Ryan Guest. She also leaves behind her beloved great-great-grandchildren, Ellie Windes, Bennett Windes, Jennings Thompson, and Avery Edie.

A memorial service to celebrate Miriam’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Hansen Mortuary.

Miriam's legacy lives on through her family, who will remember her for her strength, warmth, and enduring spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
