She was a member of the St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church in Burley Idaho.

She liked singing, dancing, being around her children and grandchildren, family time was important to her. She was an extraordinary mother, partner, sister, grandmother, and friend. Every little spare time she had she would go visit her kids and grandkids at their house. She would also like to spend some time at church doing spiritual retreats and spending time with her friends. She was a very outgoing person.

She was a very hard working woman. She worked all her life. She became a widow at 35. Came to the United States to raise her four children on her own, with the help of her family members and friends. She worked out in the fields, hoeing beats, sorting potatoes, any seasonal jobs all year round and for 15+ years she worked at Dale Darrington Dairy milking cows. A very hard job for a woman, but she did it to be able to provide for her kids. She was a very independent woman, she touched the lives of many people because she was a very loving and respectful woman, even though she had a very difficult life because she was a single mother, nothing stopped her and she was always available to help others. Her departure leaves a huge void in our hearts. Her memory will live forever in our lives forever.

Rafaela Rodriguez, 59, of Rupert, Idaho passed away Monday, December 16, 2024, at home. Viewing for family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday December 20, 2024. With a rosary starting at 6:00 PM at Hansen Mortuary, Rupert. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday December 21, 2024 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Services will conclude with a burial at the Declo Cemetery Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.

Rafaela era una mujer muy trabajadora. Trabajó toda su vida. Se quedó viuda a los 35 años. Llegó a los Estados Unidos para criar a sus cuatro hijos por su cuenta, con la ayuda de sus familiares y amigos. Trabajó en los campos, en el betabel, en las cosechas de papa, cualquier trabajo estacional durante todo el año y durante 15+ años trabajó con Dale Darrington Dairy ordeñando vacas. Un trabajo muy duro para una mujer, pero lo hizo para poder sacar a sus hijos adelante. Era una mujer muy independiente tocó la vida de muchas personas porque era una mujer muy cariñosa y respetuosa a pesar de que tuvo una vida muy difícil por ser madre soltera nada la detenía y siempre estaba a la disposición para ayudar a los demás. Su partida deja un vacío enorme en nuestros corazones. Su memoria vivirá por siempre en nuestras vidas. En paz descanse esa gran señora, guerrera y sobre todo una gran mujer y amiga nunca la vamos a olvidar.

Era miembro de la iglesia católica St. Therese Little Flower en Burley, Idaho.

Le gustaba cantar, bailar, estar cerca de sus hijos y nietos, el tiempo en familia era importante para ella. Fue una madre, compañera, hermana, abuela y amiga extraordinaria. Cada poco tiempo libre que tenía iba a visitar a sus hijos y nietos a su casa. También le gustaba pasar  tiempo en la iglesia haciendo retiros espirituales y pasando tiempo con sus amigas. Era una persona muy extraordinaria.

Rafaela Rodríguez, de 59 años, de Rupert, Idaho, falleció el lunes 16 de diciembre de 2024 en su casa. El velatorio para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo de 5:00 a 8:00 p.m. el viernes 20 de diciembre de 2024. Con un rosario a partir de las 6:00 p.m. en la funeraria Hansen, Rupert. La misa se llevará a cabo a las 10:00 a.m. del sábado 21 de diciembre de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica de San Nicolás. Los servicios concluirán con un entierro en el cementerio de Declo. Los arreglos funerarios están bajo la dirección de la funeraria Joel Heward Hansen.
