Our dear father, Rocky Joe Schmidt, 61 of Heyburn passed away Thursday July 25, 2024 peacefully at home. Rocky was born in Burley Idaho on December 12, 1962 to John Schmidt and Kenna  Bowlin. 

He was proceeded in death by his first wife Terri Jewell Schmidt.

He is survived by many loving family members including his parents John Schmidt and Kenna and Sonny Bowlin, Lisa Schmidt whom they raised 5  children together- Josh, Jeremiah, Tiffiny, Tabitha and Heather. His 6 grandchildren and his siblings- Brenda Gerratt,  JT Bowlin and Marcion Campbell, stepbrothers Brad and Dion Campbell, who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. 

He was a man of immense kindness, strength and humor, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. 

He had a love for camping, fishing, riding dirt bikes, tinkering and was the best mechanic around. Everyone knew that if something was broken, they could count on Rocky to fix it. He was our forever hero on earth, and now our forever angel. 

Memorial services for family and friends will be held 11am Friday August 2nd at Hansen Mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
