Sharon Smith Adams, 88 passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at her daughters home in Rupert, Idaho.
She was born on January 11, 1937 in Logan, Utah to Clayton and Jessie Simons Smith. She lived in Paul, Idaho before moving to Ogden, Utah in 1985 then moving back to Idaho and settling in Heyburn for many years before finally moving to Rupert.
She worked various jobs over the years. Her favorite job was at Little Rock Manufacturing sewing banana chairs where she exceeded all expectations.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and other forms of handcrafts, and doing genealogy. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a member of The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Sharon is survived by her four children Rick Kraus, Utah, Tina (Kraus) Martin, Washington, Linda Smith Adams Maxfield, Rupert, Idaho, and Mark Adams, Ogden, Utah. Nine grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, brother-in-law Ronald (Kay) Ralphs, Niece Jessica Ralphs, and nephew Jared Ralphs. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Shephard Smith and Jessie and Oran Bosworth. Brother Clayton DeVarrel Smith, sister Kathie Smith Ralphs and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Idaho Home Health and Hospice for enabling Linda to keep her mother at home with her as well as Abigails in Home Care with special recognition to Alisa Simerlink and Stephanie Anderson.
Memorial Services are pending and will be announced under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
