On the morning of May 2, 2019, Sharon Ann Crowe of Rupert, Idaho passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 77.
Sharon was born on April 5, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Helen Knoblauch. Shortly after her birth, Sharon's family moved to Rupert where she was raised and formed lifelong friendships. After graduating from Minico High School in 1960 she married John Warner Crowe on September 3, 1960 in Rupert and had one child. John took Sharon on many adventures moving from Idaho to California, Virginia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee and finally returning to her home in Rupert. Sharon was a member of the Rupert United Methodist Church where she also served as the Church Administrator for almost ten years.
Sharon is survived by her brother Mike (Patricia) Knoblacuh of Payette, her daughter Shannon Crowe of Rupert, and her grandson Zachary (Rebecca) Millar. She is also survived by her stepson, Kendric Proctor, his two children, Seth Proctor and Leah Jordan (Fielding) Ables and a great grandchild, Miller Jane Ables.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John of 51 years, her parents and her brother Robert George (Jean) Knoblauch.
A Memorial service to celebrate Sharon's life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 6, 2019 at Rupert United Methodist Church, 605 H Street, with Pastor David Madden officiating.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful, kind staff and healthcare professionals at Minidoka Memorial Hospital and Countryside Care & Rehab for their gentle care and helping hands during her short stay with them.
Memorials may be made to Open Heart Food Pantry at Rupert United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
