Stanley Warren Obituary

Stanley Dean Warren 82 of Declo, Idaho, beloved father, grandpa, and husband passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024, at his home in Declo, Idaho. Stan was born January 11, 1942, in Kaysville, Utah, the son of Albert Merle Warren and Annie Evans Warren. He was the fourth of five children.

Stan always had a love for horses, and he especially loved a good one. He was very blessed to own so many. Stan was a natural and loved riding at a young age. He competed in rodeos as a steer wrestler, then moved to cutting horses, winning many awards. He continued throughout life riding horses for pleasure as he rode through his cattle. He was able to share this love with his family throughout the years.

Stan grew up in Kaysville, Utah attending Kaysville Elementary, Central Davis Junior High, and graduated from Davis High School.

Stan married Donna Martin and they were blessed with three children, Stacie, Jennie, and Cory. They later divorced but remained friends. On January 17, 1986, Stan married Lynne Field. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Twin Falls Temple on May 10, 2013.

Stan loved his family and grandchildren and loved watching them in all their activities, especially their love for horses.

In September of 1996, he moved to Declo to follow his dream of ranching and farming. Stan was never afraid to work and began driving a dump truck while he was still in Jr. High School. He worked for Clover Club foods as assistant plant manager. He Later owned W&K Mobile Service and maintained trucks and trailers for Clover Club. Stan was an amazing mechanic, along with everything else that he did.

Stan is survived by his wife Lynne Warren, daughters; Stacie Muir (Jon), Jennie Kay Warren, his son Cory Dean Warren (Melissa), and three stepchildren; Quentin Stewart, Addie Stewart (Rene Espolon), and Mandi Eck (Cody). He has six grandchildren: Brock Muir, Ashley Muir, Gavin Dean Warren, Brynlee Warren, Tylee Eck, and Talen Eck. He is also survived by one sister; Carla Turner and two brothers; Dick Warren, and Bert Warren (Chris).

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Evan Warren, and a grandson; Jacob Gallegos.

The family would like to give thanks and appreciation to the family and friends that made such a great impact on Stan’s life. We would also like to give thanks to the doctors, nurses, and therapists at Intermountain Home Care, with a special thanks to Scott Crider (OT), and Tiffany Sanchez (Nurse).

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2024, in the Kaysville City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
