Teressa Gutierrez

Teressa Gutierrez, 59 years old died February 13, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones and  taken care of by hospice.

Born  6/17/1966, in Rupert Idaho to Justo Vela and Felisita Luna Vela. She was living in Burley Idaho

Teressa was preceded in death by her father Justo Vela, mother Felisita Luna Vela, and brother Benito Vela.

Survived by her husband Lucio Gutierrez, son Marco Gutierrez, and daughter Adriana Gutierrez. 

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff of Horizon Home Health Care for the exceptional care and genuine kindness they provided Teressa.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 19, 2026 at the. First Baptist Church in Burley. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary
