Terry Lynn Ward 64 of Rupert passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, at Parke View Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Burley, Idaho. He was born August 19, 1961, in Burley, Idaho, to Terry Dennis and Mary Ann (Callahan) Ward.

He was their oldest child. He married Diane Marie Ward. Terry joined the Job Corp in Fort Simcoe, Washington. He was there from 1978-1982. While there he learned to be a chef, he said that "they let him do everything there as a chef". He was especially proud of his bread making skills.

 Upon returning home he started his own business of lawn mowing and he mowed lawns in Oakley, Burley, and Rupert areas. His customers thought of him as being very nice and quiet. After meeting Diane, she joined him in the lawn mowing business. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Terry is survived by his mother and siblings David (Vera-Ellen), Kenneth (Jill), Rose Ann Gill, (Ray Andrus), Patricia Eiler (Jason) and Joseph and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and his wife..

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Oakley Idaho 3rd Ward Chapel. Urn Placement will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Rupert Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
