Treva Weeks Obituary

Treva Ann Weeks crossed over at the age of 85 in Burley Idaho December 25th, 2019 to be with her loving husband. Treva was born on December 3rd, 1934 to Tressie and Thomas Gabbert in Missouri. The family moved to Idaho in 1952 where she went to Burly High School and graduated in 1953. She worked at both the Burley Theater as well as the Drive Inn and she also taught dance. She married Floyd (Mick) Weeks in 1955, and moved to Pocatello, Seattle Washington, Coeur d’Alene Idaho and then coming back to Rupert in 1966. Treva and Mick started traveling and selling Native American jewelry in 1988, and they traveled all over the west coast having some of best times of their lives, and in the summers, they would spend at Smiley Creek and enjoyed all the beauty of the Sawtooth’s. Treva leaves behind four boys Michael, Curtis, David and Dennis, four grandchildren Stephen, Michael, Jewel and Dennis, six great grandchildren, a sister Sharon Carlson and a brother Tom Gabbert. Per Treva’s wishes no service will be held. Arraignments are being handled by Hanson Mortuary 710 6th St Rupert Idaho.
