Walter (Wally) Huber
Wally was born on November 20, 1935 to parents Fred and Lydia Bossert Huber in Isabel, South Dakota. He joined his two sisters Clara and Marie. Later his parents moved to Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho where his brother Leonard was born. The family then moved to Rupert, Idaho in 1940 and Delores was born here.
Wally attended Lincoln Elementary and graduated from Rupert High School with the class of 1954. Wally loved to trail ride, hunt, fish, travel, snowmobile, and watch NASCAR racing wrecks on television.
Wally had more jobs than he can remember. His first job was picking potatoes by hand and his last job was driving truck in the beets.
He is survived by his brother Leonard Huber and sister Delores Osborn of Rupert, Idaho, his sister Marie Pierce of Brinnon, Washington and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
To my brother Leonard and sister Delores and Marie, my nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, I want to say thank to all or you for the time I”ve spend with you and everything you all have done for me. To the kid with the silver dollar and secret recipes who also gave me haircuts, a million thanks.
To Diane and all the staff at Minidoka Memorial Home Health and Hospice, thank you for the great care you provide me.
To all the waitresses that served me coffee for many years, thank you for the great service.
Graveside memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Rupert Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
