Warren McMillon

Warren McMillon, 89, of Rupert, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Blackfoot, Idaho.  He was born in Jackson, Idaho to Harmon and Julia Head McMillon and lived in Rupert for many years. 

Warren worked at Goode Motors and the Minidoka County Highway District.  He was a good provider to his family and their needs.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and repairing any farm equipment that needed repairs, even if it took him staying up all night to do it.

He is survived by his children, Sue (Bert) Osborn, Sharon (Rod) Ruddles and Steve (Jan) McMillon; sisters, Betty Pittman, Vivian Worthley and Rosie Dockstader.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents,  his wives Margaret McMillon and Rose McMillon; a sister Margaret Vadnais and his brothers Emery and Robert.

The family would like to thank Hospicecare and the Gables Assisted Living in Blackfoot for the care given to Warren and to Ross Newcomb for the helping Warren over the years.

A viewing for family and friends will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Hansen Mortuary in Rupert.  A graveside service will take place at the Rupert Cemetery immediately following the viewing.  Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.  Condolences may be shared with the family at hansen-mortuary.com.
