Donald Ray Cox

Donald Ray Cox (Don), a long-time resident of Parma, ID and the Treasure Valley, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 68.   Don was born in Caldwell, ID on May 1, 1955, to Dawson Percy (D.P.) and Virginia M. Cox of Parma, ID.  He was raised in the Parma area where he attended schools, and later in Caldwell and Nampa, before returning to Parma where he graduated.  Following graduation, Don enlisted in the U.S. Navy, continuing a family tradition of military service.   He enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing, especially in the area along the Payette River near Garden Valley. 

Donald is predeceased by his parents, grandparents, younger sister Cindy, and numerous aunts and uncles.  He is survived by his older sister Linda (Cox) DuBose and aunt Judith Smith both of Caldwell, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

At his request there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hansen Funeral Home of Rupert, ID.
