Jerry Staker Obituary
Jerry Staker, 82 of Heyburn passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his home. Jerry was born in Rupert and lived in Heyburn until his death. He attended Rupert High School, and served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in July 1963, he was self employed with Sawtooth Excavation.
Jerry is survived by his children Julia (Larry) Coffman and Rick Staker and his grandchildren Bambie Thomez, Kourtney Staker, Audrey Cannon, Jerrick Staker, Jacoby Fox, Jaime Goedhart and Patrick Coffman. He is preceded in death by his parents George Henry Staker and Hannah Mae Cooke, ten brothers Raymond, Lawrence, Derlin, Bud, Don, Fred, Glen, Dave, Leonard and Bob and three sisters Dora, Vera and Faye.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2018 at the Rupert Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rupert Meals on Wheels.
