Opal Marie Bailey, 79, of Rupert, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Countryside Care in Rupert.  She was born June 16, 1939 to Claude Roy and Vaun Littleton in Clarinda, Iowa.  She married Wayne Gerald Bailey on February 9, 1962 in Rupert, Idaho.

She liked to Embroidery, loved to read Harlequin Romance books and she liked to play the slot machines whether in Jackpot or on her computer . She loved her family and friends with open arms.

Opal had many different jobs over the years. She worked for Roland Jones Potatoes, drove dump truck at Triple “C” Concrete while working in the gravel pit with her husband Wayne for years. She moved into C St Manor where she met and became friends with many wonderful people where she also enjoyed  the Saturday night bingo. As her health declined further she made the decision to move into Countryside Care and Rehab in Rupert. Family would like to thank all the staff at countryside for all their loving care and support during her final days. She loved you all!
