Pablo Ochoa 69, passed away on February 13, 2020 at Intermountain Medical Center. Pablo was born in Elsa, Texas and was living in Burley, Idaho. Survivors include his wife, Kerma Ochoa, his sisters and brother, David Ochoa, Silvia (Dale) Miller, Gloria Villasenor, and Belia Ochoa. His sons, Pablo Jr., Felipe, and Tony. Nieces and nephews and grandchildren. Step-kids Sheila Otto (David Allen, husband), Eric (Dora) Gochnour, and Tyson Christensen, as well as step-grandchildren. Pablo is proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Ramon, Rogelio, Richard, Noe, and his son Ismael (Mily). Pablo was a member of the Latter-Day Saints Star 2nd Ward. Pablo worked at McCain Foods for 25 years in a variety of roles. Pablo enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, hunting, second-hand sales, and binge watching the Andy Griffith show. Although he enjoyed these pastimes, he would drop everything to go fishing. The family would like to thank all the healthcare providers who provided compassionate and loving care to Pablo.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday February 19, 2020 at the Star Ward building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Viewing for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday February 18 2020 at Hansen Mortuary 710 6th Street Rupert, Idaho. Burial will be at Paul Cemetery under the direction of Joel Heward, Hansen Mortuary.
