ndie Grace Whittle, 56 of Rupert passed away Thursday, January 12, 2016 at Minidoka Memorial Hospital. Indie was born June 10, 1960 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to James Shaw Sr. and Grace Coburn Shaw. She was married to Ronald Taylor (deceased) and Donald Whittle. She resided in Green Cove Springs, Florida; Palmer, Alaska; Las Vegas, Nevada and Rupert, Idaho. Indie earned a degree in Nursing and Criminal Justice. She worked for Alyeska Pipeline, Nevada Nuclear Test Site, Parkview Care and Rehabilitation Center, and Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. Indie was raised Baptist and was baptized into the LDS church about ten years ago. She loved music, reading, and playing games with friends.
Indie is survived by her husband Donald Whittle and her daughter Raegan (Joshua) Taylor, Las Vegas, Nevada. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Grace Shaw, brother James Shaw Jr., and her son Tysen Taylor.
