Roberto Fernandez Jr. 48 of Twin Falls passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Cassia Regional Medical Center. Roberto Fernandez was born on September 3, 1967 and raised by ", Margarita Fernandez (Grandmother) "Ama", and Ezekiel Fernandez (Grandfather) "Apa." in Bakersfield California. His father Roberto Fernandez Sr., and mother Alma Estrada. Roberto married Maribel Gonzalez in 1987 had three children Robert, Melissa, and Michael. Roberto resided in Twin Falls Idaho to be close to his children. Roberto worked at Americold in Burley Idaho as a histerdriver and enjoyed his co-workers, but was not too fond of the cold freezer. Roberto was raised in the Apostolic church and had strong faith. Some of his hobbies were fishing, being outdoors, and playing his guitar, but most of all he loved being with his three children, Robert, Melissa, and Michaela.
Roberto is survived by his children, Robert Anthony Fernandez, (Nadia), Melissa Monique Fernandez-Burgara (David), and Michaela Melinda Fernandez. Roberto was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, Natalia Maria Fernandez, and Ezra Robert Fernandez. His Mother Rachel Fernandez, and Brother, Daniel Fernandez, and sister Margarita Fernandez. Roberto is preceded in death by, Roberto Fernandez SR (Father), Guadalupe Hinojosa "Aunt Lupe", Margarita Fernandez (Grandmother) "Ama", and Ezekiel Fernandez (Grandfather) "Apa."
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday March 25, 2016 at Hansen Mortuary. Viewing for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Mortuary and for one hour prior to the services.
