Wilma Fern Gardner
Age 83 of Jerome passed away Friday, December2, 2016 in Jerome Idaho.
She was born October 13, 1933 in Compton, AR to William and Jewel Jackson. She graduated from High school. She was married to Ralph Gardner on October 10, 1951. They lived in California off and on while Ralph was in the Navy; both oldest children were born during this time. Mom came back to Jerome in 1955 where her and Ralph lived out their remaining years. She worked in a processing plant where she loved working until her retirement.
She loved watching football, Boise Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.
She is survived by her children: Larry Gardner -Jerome, Debbie (Ron) Young-Caldwell Denise (Wayne) Mathis-Tennessee, Dorinda Dee (Peewee) Silver-Jerome, Kathy (Mike) Bailey-Twin Falls, Nancy(Sean) Harwager-South Dakota. She had 25 Grandchildren 67 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great great grandchild, and one sister Lavern Stumpf - Twin Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, her parents Bill and Jewel Jackson, Brother Billy Jackson, Nephew, Loren Jackson, Britnay and Brandon silver Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday December 8, 2016 at the Life Church of Magic Valley 425 E Nez Perce Avenue Jerome, Idaho with Minister Jay Silver officiating. Viewing for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday December 7, 2016 at the church. Services will conclude with burial in the Jerome Cemetery are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Dr. Joseph Ippolito and staff and Dr. Nagraj Narasimhan and staff.
