Jerry Douglas Miller 80 of Rupert passed away July 7, 2016 at his home. Jerry was born January 26 1936 at Osage Oklahoma a son of Irven and Clara miller. He married Shirley Fay Dean September 24, 1955. Jerry was a traveling pipeline worker and traveled for several years and in many different states. He later retired with Dale Milam & Sons after moving to Rupert Idaho.
Jerry is survived by his children Julie Cardoza, Marlene (Wayne) Wood, Dennis (Yvonne) Miller, Kelly (Kathy) Miller, Tammy (Jeremy) Dulin, Kevin (Annie) Miller and Treana (Josh) Henson along with several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
He is also survived by a brother Harold Miller a Sister Carolyn Bell
He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Miller, Son Douglas Miller, Parents Irven and Clara Miller, Brothers Sammy, Dale, and Clifford Miller.
Jerry was a simple man who loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved and cared for his dogs. He enjoyed spending time outside with them on warm summer days.
There will always be a special place in our hearts for Jerry. He will be deeply loved and missed by many.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at Hansen Mortuary. Services will conclude with burial in the Rupert Cemetery under the direction of Hansen Mortuary. On Line condolences may be left at hansen-mortuary.com
